Bell Arts Factory’s End of 2018 Fundraiser
As we approach the end of 2018 , Bell Arts Factory would like to thank our supporters who have helped us accomplish so much this year. We continue on a strong path forward, and this only because of your donations, volunteer hours, and participation at all of our events.
2018 has been a year of wonderful growth for Bell Arts Factory. We have expanded our Youth Art Program to include a teen summer camp and additional Spanish language art classes. We have also piloted the new Artist in Residence program, offering mentorship, business training, and studio space to young Ventura artists they develop their careers. And we continue our outreach to the Ventura Avenue community, offering community art and wellness classes, as well as the re-launch of our Dia De Los Muertos event.
We have also expanded our development efforts, receiving the California Arts Council Grant for our Youth Art Program in 2018. We were also again honored to receive the Cultural Affairs Grant from the City of Ventura for this fiscal year. These funds, along with your donations, will be vital to the continued success and expansion of Bell Arts Factory in the years to come.
Our effort continues in 2019, as there is always much work ahead. We have set the following program goals for 2019:
- Expand our afterschool and summer teen art programs in both English and Spanish
- Support the Danza Azteca and Ballet Folklorico programs through grant funding
- Officially launch the Young Artist in Residence program
- Coordinate community-wide events, such as Dia De Los Muertos, the Ventura Artist Holiday Botique, and Dia Del Niño
- Partner with community organizations to affirm Ventura Avenue as the cultural hub of the City
We know that we can accomplish these goals with your continued support. Will you make a monthly contribution of $10 to Bell Arts Factory and keep Ventura filled with art, dance, music, and culture?
